Who is this guy?

A husband, father of two daughters, amateur musician, business owner, cooperative movement advocate, innovator, and strategy consultant

Most importantly, I believe there is a God who created this universe and has done so with such amazing precision that even the scientists can't explain it!

I have been blessed to work in the financial industry since high school. In the last couple decades, I have seen everything from IBM desktop computers with no hard drives and floppy disks, to streaming video and the ability to talk to the other side of the world for free without even a flutter! And now we have sent the first "non astronauts" into space! And Mars may not be far off...

My career seemed to move so fast. Within 25 years I had become the CEO of a financial institution serving financial cooperatives in Pennsylvania, and eventually, all over the United States.

I have enjoyed starting new companies and getting rid of old ones. Building new products and retiring those who have come to the end of their life cycle. But most of all, I have enjoyed building company cultures where people had a reason to get up everyday and serve others, enjoy working with their peers, and knowing they had something to look forward to in the future.

Moving forward I want to see more cooperation amongst the cooperative movement. I also want to see more young people getting educated and gaining access to more opportunities to fulfill their dreams.

I want them to realize they do not have to go to college and that most of the world's knowledge is available for free if they choose to be life-long learners. Science, technology, engineering, the arts and math, better known as "STEAM" excites me. I want to build communities of students working and experimenting with like-minded peers. There are so many opportunities and great projects to cooperate on. Young people can succeed in this world. Everyone deserves a chance to achieve anything they desire in life.
